SCULPT ARTWORK · NOT AN ARTIST PORTRAITMelody Hess.
Melody Hess creates original doll sculptures for artists who specialise in bringing blank kits to life. Her official studio presents both vinyl and silicone work and makes an important distinction between an unassembled sculpt kit and a finished, painted reborn.
Her documented vinyl collection includes Amara, Vivia and Jupiter: three individually named designs offered as blank, neutral vinyl kits. The studio describes Amara and Vivia as limited editions of 800 each, and Jupiter as an edition of 1,500. Each listing details kit components and the certificate offered by the sculptor.
Melody also presents silicone sculpts and separate silicone components, but not every silicone product is a complete kit. Reborna records her verified vinyl offerings first and keeps silicone heads, limbs, completed dolls and uncertain listings separate until their identities and kit formats are checked.
